PURPOSE: An automatic power off iron is provide to save power by automatically blocking power of a drier if a user does not hold a handle for over a fixed time. CONSTITUTION: An automatic power off iron includes a body(10), a thermal plate(20), a handle(30), a controlling element(40), a controlling unit(50), and a sensor(51). A hot wire is embedded inside a heat plate. A handle is installed in an upper part of a main body. A controlling element set a power supply to the heating plate or a temperature of a heating plate according to an input of a user. The controlling unit controls power supply to the heating plate according to a signal inputted from the controlling element. A sensor is installed in the handle. The sensor senses wether a user holds the handle or not. The controlling unit controls power supply to the heating plate according to a signal sensed in a sensor. |
