FIELD: electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: damper consists of elastic damper element 2 the ends of which are fixed in loads 3, 4, and clamp 5 to fix the damper on wire (cable) 1. Elastic damper element 2 represents the set (in the form of circle in cross section) which consists of straight metal wires 6 with crimping device 7 located on it. This set includes as a rule nineteen straight metal wires 6. As material for straight metal wires 6 there used is galvanised steel wire, aluminised steel wire, and steel wire coated with aluminium. Crimping device 7 is made in the form of wire spiral, strand of wires spirals, spiral spring, heat-shrink tube from elastic material or metal band braiding. ^ EFFECT: damper has good energy absorption characteristics in wide range of working frequencies owing to providing optimum friction conditions of wires of elastic damper element, has wide frequency damping band, has simple design and manufacturing procedure, has successfully passed field test and is ready for series use in overhead transmission lines and communication lines. ^ 11 cl, 1 dwg |
