FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing lower olefins which is realised in olefin catalytic cracking conditions and the raw material is an olefin-rich mixture which contains one or more olefins with four or more carbon atoms, involving the following operations: a) providing contact between the raw material and crystalline silica-alumina catalyst, having molar ratio SiO2/Al2O3 of at least 10, so as to obtain an output reaction product containing lower olefins; and b) separation of lower olefins from the output reaction product; pressure during the reaction ranges from -0.1 to less than 0.0 MPa, where the said olefin-rich mixture contains C4-C12 linear olefins. ^ EFFECT: present method enable to overcome disadvantages of previous methods such as high pressure and temperature during reaction, low output and selectivity of lower olefins as given products, low stability and short life of the catalyst. ^ 12 cl, 6 tbl, 18 ex |
