The process comprises superimposing the components each having a thickness of 2-10 mm to obtain a pack of components having a total thickness of 25-50 mm, and operating oxygen cutting of the pack of components by a gas flow delivered by the cutting nozzle. The nozzle delivers the gas flow containing oxygen and fuel gas during an initial cutting phase. The nozzle comprises an elongated body comprising a central passage for oxygen to deliver a central oxygen jet, fuel gas passages to deliver peripheral jets of fuel gas and additional internal passages. The nozzle comprises an elongated body comprising a central passage for oxygen to deliver a central oxygen jet, fuel gas passages to deliver peripheral jets of fuel gas and additional internal passages contacting with the central passage. The additional internal passages are able to divert a portion of the central oxygen stream and to distribute the stream around the central oxygen jet to create a layer of oxygen around the central oxygen jet. The component located on top of packet immediately next to the cutting nozzle has a thickness of greater than 4 mm. |
