PURPOSE: A video processing method and a video processing system are provided to convert contents into a format proper to a display of an external display apparatus if an image processing apparatus requests contents. CONSTITUTION: An external display unit(300) receives contents from the outside, and displays the contents. If the external display apparatus is connected, an image processing apparatus(200) transfers the display information for the external display apparatus to a contents server(100). The image processing apparatus receives the contents from the contents server, wherein the display information is converted according to the display information. The image processing apparatus transfers the contents to the external display apparatus.
