PURPOSE: A composition containing Oenanthe javanica extract for treating fatty liver, hyperlipidemia, and high blood glucose is provided to enhance health without side effects. CONSTITUTION: A composition for treating fatty liver, hyperlipidemia, and high blood glucose contains Oenanthe javanica extact. A method for preparing the Oenanthe javanica extract comprises: a step of drying Oenanthe javanica in the shadow at room temperature for a week; a step of pulverizing and mixing Oenanthe javanica with distilled water in a weight ratio of 1:10; a step of extracting at 80-100°C for 1-3 hours by reflux; and a step of extracting with water or low alcohol of 1-4 carbon atoms and removing extraction solvent. The extraction solvent is n-butanol. The composition contains pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. A health food for removing fatty liver, hyperlipidemia, and high blood glucose contains the composition and sitologically acceptable additive.
