The device has a main body (7) in which a sensor (6) slides along a symmetric axis of two bent arms (8, 9) and is maintained in position by a knurled screw (1). The arms are displaced circularly with respect to the main body and are maintained in position by the screw. A scale (4) is integrated to the sensor. Another scale (5) is displaced parallely with respect to the sensor and housed partially below the former scale so as to obtain superposed scales. The latter scale is maintained in position by the screw.
