PURPOSE: A tool for preventing water leakage for a closestool is provided to prevent a tool from being damaged due to carelessness. CONSTITUTION: A tool for preventing water leakage for a closestool includes a rotation shaft, the second gear(41,61), and a water leakage preventing member(80). The rotation shaft is installed on a lower side of a sitting board of a closestool. The rotation shaft includes the first gear(21,31). The second gear is engaged with the first gear. The second gear comprises a gear shaft. Both ends of the water leakage preventing member are coupled with an end of a gear shaft of the second gear. A rotation shaft and the gear shaft include a unit for adjusting the length.
