PURPOSE: A reinforcing bar with grooves is provided to reduce raw material costs for production of reinforcing bars by tapered grooves and protrusions for covering the tapered grooves. CONSTITUTION: A reinforcing bar with grooves comprises tapered grooves(11) and protrusions(12). The tapered grooves are formed on the outer surface of a reinforcing bar(10) along the longitudinal direction of the reinforcing bar. Each tapered groove is tapered inward from the outer surface of the reinforcing bar. The protrusion is extended from the tapered groove between the tapered grooves. A sub protrusion is formed on the outer surface of the protrusion and the tapered groove.
