<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for a color filter of an inkjet system, which is suitably used for manufacturing the color filter having a superior contrast ratio and luminosity and further having superior durability, to provide the color filter which displays an image with an superior contrast ratio and lightness and is superior in durability, to provide an image display device with the color filter, and to provide an electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The ink for a color filter is used for manufacturing the color filter of an inkjet system, and includes: a resin material; a colorant containing a dye with a functional group having the same chemical structure as that of a functional group contained in the resin material; and a liquid medium in which the resin material and the colorant are dissolved and/or dispersed.
