PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for tire vulcanization which is contrived to inhibit the formation of a rubber crowded out between mold sectors, when a tire with a low rate of expansion from a green tire to a finished product tire, is vulcanized using a tire vulcanization mold of a split mold type. SOLUTION: The mold for tire vulcanization is of the split mold type constituted of a plurality of sectors 12 which are arranged in a circular shape and can be opened and closed by moving each sector 12. The sector 12 is configured in the way that it can move at least, in a direction crossing over the radial direction of the tire. When the mold for tire vulcanization 10 is closed, the mold surface of each sector 12 comes into contact with the tread surface of the green tire, rubbing in the tire circumferential direction.
