PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate balancing between the generation of crown bares and the tire appearance by reducing variations in gap between adjacent pieces. SOLUTION: A tire vulcanizing mold is configured as follows. A plurality of pieces 14 are arranged side by side in one sector 12. A plurality of the sectors 12 are circularly arranged. Each gap 16 for removing air in-between a raw tire during tire vulcanization is discontinuously arranged between the adjacent pieces 14. The range of the gap 16 is narrowed as compared with that when continuously providing each gap 16 between the pieces 14 over the whole length in the tire-width direction.
