PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizer useful for effectively and continuously decomposing an odor component from Lactobacillus paracasei. SOLUTION: Lactobacillus paracasei fungus body is cultured, and after a culture medium is removed, an enzyme (group) prepared by crushing the fungus body is used as the deodorizer. The deodorizer has high decomposition activity to trimethylamine and hydrogen sulfide which are typical odor components, and the deodorizing activity is not lost even after the treatment at 120°C for 20 min.
