PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for enhancing the elongation of a polyarylene sulfide resin by which remarkable toughness can be imparted to the polyarylene sulfide resin without lowering the elastic modulus in a high temperature region, and to provide a molding of a polyarylene sulfide resin excellent in balance between toughness and rigidity in a high temperature region and having especially remarkable toughness. SOLUTION: The method for enhancing the elongation of a polyarylene sulfide resin is characterized by dispersing carbon black in a polyarylene sulfide resin phase. The molding is a molding of a composition A obtained by dispersing carbon black in a polyarylene sulfide resin phase, wherein the molding is characterized in that a rate of change in tear break elongation in the range of 120-220°C is≥120% and a rate of change in elastic modulus in the range of 120-220°C is≥100%.
