PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply solve a security problem in a tradeoff relation with easy setup in a communication device without feeling troublesome. SOLUTION: The communication device includes: a communication means for performing cable or radio communication; two or more kinds of easy setup means which are the means for sharing association information to be used for establishing a communication connection and establishing the communication control without manual input between a registrar device and an enrollee device; and a function limiting means for limiting the utilization of at least a portion of function that the enrollee device has according to the kind of the used easy setup means when establishing the communication connection between the registrar device and the enrollee device and starting the communication by the easy setup means.
