<p>Disclosed is a grease composition comprising a base oil, a thickening agent and an additive. The grease composition is characterized in that the base oil has a kinematic viscosity of 50 to 200 mm2/s at 40°C, the thickening agent comprises a diurea compound represented by general formula (I): R1-NHCONH-R2-NHCONH-R3 (wherein R2 represents a bivalent aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 15 carbon atoms; and R1 and R3 are the same as or different from each other and independently represent a cyclohexyl group, or a linear or branched alkyl group having 8 to 22 carbon atoms), the additive is at least one component selected from the group consisting of a metal salt of naphthenic acid, a salt of a fatty acid having 6 to 10 carbon atoms and an aliphatic amine having 6 to 10 carbon atoms, and a metal salt of an organic sulfonic acid. The composition exhibits excellent fretting resistance at a temperature ranging from ambient temperature to a lower temperature (e.g., -50°C, preferably about -40°C).</p> |
