METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IMPLEMENTING LOCAL CALL LOCAL SWITCH

A method for implementing Local Call Local Switch (LCLS) is provided in the present invention, and the method comprises: the source Mobile Switch Center (MSC) receives the handover request from the Source Base Station System (BSS), and the source MSC transmits the access information of the opposite end to the target MSC; the target MSC judges whether the local switching can be triggered according to the access information of the opposite end; if it is concluded that the local switching can be triggered, the target MSC tells the target BSS to perform the local switching; and the target BSS performs the local switching. A system for implementing LCLS is also provided in the present invention, which comprises MSCs and BSSs, so that the implementing of LCLS is supported in the handover scenario. The method and system for implementing LCLS provided in the present invention judge the local call through the target MSC, and then tell the target BSS to perform the local switching, thus solving the problem of unsuccessful local switching which is resulted by that the BSS connects with multiple MSCs in the handover scenario.
