PURPOSE: An image processing apparatus and a method thereof are provided to generate a smoothing zooming change video in manual zooming photographing. CONSTITUTION: A memory unit(222) records a plurality of photographed images, and a focus distance. A focus distance calculator(232) calculates the focus distance for smoothing for time conversion of the focusing distance based on the recorded focal distance. An image generating unit(234) generates an image for smoothing corresponded to the smooth focus distance by the smooth focus distance, a recorded focus distance, and a recorded images. |
