METHOD FOR DISPLAYING OF NETWORK NAME IN MOBILE TERMINAL AND SYSTEM THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method and a system for displaying a service provider name of a mobile terminal are provided to receive a message including a service provider name from a base station during a camp-on process, thereby extracting the service provider from the message. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal(10) performs booting by a request of a user. Or, the mobile terminal performs a camp-on process during handover. The mobile terminal receives a system information message from a base station(20). The mobile terminal performs channel request and allocation processes with the base station. The mobile terminal transmits a location update request message. The mobile terminal receives a location update response message. The mobile terminal terminates the camp-on process.
