PURPOSE: A method of assembling a cover for a steering wheel is provided to enable a cover to be simply installed/disassembled on/from a steering wheel since a fastener is coupled to a mounting bush, which is press-mounted on a wheel spoke. CONSTITUTION: A method of assembling a cover for a steering wheel is as follows. A mounting bush(200) is placed on a plurality of lower support rods(135), which are formed on a lower die(130). A plurality of mounting holes(120), which are formed on the wheel spoke(110) of a steering wheel(100), are coupled to the upper parts of the mounting bushes. A plurality of upper support rods, which are formed on an upper die(140), is pressed onto the lower support rods(135), the expended opening of the end of the mounting bush is expanded, and the mounting bush is fixed to the mounting hole. A plurality of fasteners(400), which are mounted on a cover(300), are coupled to the mounting holes of the mounting bush.
