PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sebum secretion state measuring apparatus capable of such measurement that the result of binarizing the image of a black point whose contour is unclear and measuring the secretion state of the black point as the one of a level capable of being made to correspond to the score of an expert judge. SOLUTION: The sebum secretion state measuring apparatus includes: local average image preparation means for converting the recorded image of the black point to a gray scale and preparing a local average image having an average value calculated from the vicinity pixels of a source image in which the image is gamma-converted; differential image preparation means for preparing a differential image having a luminance in which the luminance of the local average image is subtracted from the luminance of the source image; binarization processing means for binarizing the differential image by a specified luminance threshold; and measured value measuring means for measuring the binarized value and recording a measured value.
