PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser interception defense device which efficiently removes heat of laser beams. SOLUTION: The laser interception defense device 10 provided in a missile includes: a storage part 13 storing low-melting-point metal 13a having a melting point lower than the maximum heatproof temperature of the missile; a heating element 15 having a function to melt the low-melting-point metal 13a; a heating element ignition device 17 operated to make the heating element function by ignition; operating devices 19 for operating the heating element ignition device 17 by sensing laser interception to the missile; and a missile outer face constituting part 21 including outflow holes 21a communicating the storage part 13 with the outer side of the missile. The low-melting-point metal 13a molten by the heating element is made to flow out of the outflow holes 21a as liquid metal and at least partially covers the missile outer face.
