PURPOSE: A charge coupled device and a method for driving the same are provided to obtain a plurality of signals of different sensitivity from one unit pixel. CONSTITUTION: A PD(Photo Diode)(21) accumulates photoelectric charge of received light. A reading gate unit(221) deciphers accumulated signal electric charge of the photo diode. An accumulating unit(222) provisionally accumulates the read signal electric charge. A transmission transistor(22) transmits the accumulated signal charge to the FD(Floating Diffusion) part(27). A reset transistor(23) resets the FD part. A selection transistor(25) converts the amplification transistor(26) into the active state. |
