PURPOSE: A composition containing an inhibitor for TMEM 126A expression or activation for preventing and treating hypersensitive immune diseases is provided to induce apoptosis of immunocytes. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating hypersensitive immune diseases contains an inhibitor for TMEM 126A expression or activation. The TMEM 126A has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 1 or 2. The inhibitor for TMEM 126A expression is an antisense nucleotide which complementarily binds to TMEM 126A mRNA, short interfering RNA, or short hairpin RNA. The inhibitor for TMEM 126A activation is a compound, peptide, peptide mimetics, aptamer, or antibody which complementarily binds to TMEM 126A. A method for screening a candidate material for preventing and treating hypersensitive immune disease comprises: a step of treating a test material to a cell line in which TMEM 126A protein is expressed; a step of measuring TMEM 126A expression level in the cell line; and a step of selecting test material in which expression level is reduced comparing with a control group.
