DISTRIBUTION AUTOMATION SYSTEM AND ITS VOLTAGE CONTROL METHOD FOR REACTIVE POWER COMPENSATION

PURPOSE: A distribution automation system and a voltage controlling method for compensating reactive power are provided to change the control setting of a voltage controlling apparatus by accurately calculating the size of voltages at each node. CONSTITUTION: A distribution system is modeled in a distribution load shape according to each node and distribution wires. A formula is confirmed from the current value of an adjacent node in order to estimate the size of a voltage at corresponding node. An objective function including a controlling variable and the size of the voltage are confirmed. The objective function calculates the value of the controlling variable. The calculated value is applied to a voltage controlling unit.
