A ramp arrangement for a land vehicle

A trailer vehicle 22 for carrying a load vehicle is disclosed that includes a chassis and a main load support 26. It also includes a ramp arrangement 12 including two 5 ramp parts that together a traverse surface. One ramp part 32 is pivotal between a horizontally extending traveling position and a downwardly extending operative position. The other ramp part 34 is mounted on the one ramp part 32 and is displaceable relative thereto to vary the traverse surface as required. The main load support 26 and the ramp arrangement 12 are together interchangeable as a 10 unit between a laterally narrowed condition and a laterally expanded condition in which side edges of the load support 26 and the ramp arrangement 12 are spaced outwardly of the sides of the chassis.
