<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to print a high quality image on a data recording medium formed of synthetic resin. <P>SOLUTION: In the case that a printing medium selected on a setting screen of a printing control device represents a surface layer of the data recording medium formed of synthetic resin, a specific printing mode in which printing speed is the lowest of a plurality of printing modes is selected at least as initial setting.
