<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superimposing type transmission characterized by lower manufacturing cost, compactly designed, and having high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: This invention is the superimposing type transmission for a steering system of an automobile having a driving shaft (1) and an output shaft (2) for holding gears (3,4;3',4') in mutually opposed end parts. The superimposing type transmission is characterized in that rotary motion of the input shaft (1) can be transmitted to the output side gear (4;4') by external planetary gears (5a-5c;5a'-5c') guided by a planetary carrier (6) via the gear (3;3') placed on the driving side, and the rotary motion of the input shaft (1) can be transmitted together with additional rotary motion by target relative rotational displacement of the planetary carrier (6) to the input shaft (1), and the driving side gear (3;3') and the output side gear (4;4') are respectively formed as a conical involute gear. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
