<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve reception of spread spectrum responses having remarkably different signal strength. <P>SOLUTION: A second station includes a receiving means for receiving a message from a first station, and a transmitting means for transmitting a transmission signal as a spread spectrum signal in response to the reception of an invitation from the first station.
