<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of continuing power generation by the remaining normal stacks even if there occurs a failure in a part of the stacks. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system has a power supply circuit (10A) which has a plurality of stacks (12A-12G) connected in series, and the power supply circuit (10A) includes bypass circuits (18A-18G) which branch from each stack (12A-12G), a contactor (19) which cuts off the power supply circuit (10A) and a load by detecting that a part of the cell voltage drops to a threshold or less, and switches (17A-17G) which are connected electrically to each stack (12A-12G) in series and switches over the stack detected to the bypass circuit (18A-18G), after the power supply circuit and the load are cut off by the contactor (19). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
