<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating liquid for improving the bio-compatibility and bone-bonding affinity of the surface of an implant to be imbedded in the living body and composed of titanium or a titanium alloy, and a method for treating the implant by using the treating liquid. <P>SOLUTION: As a result of the examination of surface-treating liquid of the implant composed of the titanium or titanium alloy, by treating the implant with the treating liquid composed of Ca<SP>2+</SP>or Mg<SP>2+</SP>ion without containing Na<SP>+</SP>and K<SP>+</SP>, the bio-compatibility and bone-bonding affinity of the implant are markedly improved.
