摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which has such a constitution as to permit simple and inexpensive fabrication even when causing power source cutting state such as coming-off of battery and, moreover, hardly causes the sticking phenomenon and flicker upon re-driving. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes: a gate potential generating circuit 18 for generating a selective potential VDD and a non-selective potential VBB; and a gate control circuit 13 for switching the selective potential VDD and the non-selective potential VBB and supplying the selective potential VDD and the non-selective potential VBB to a pixel electrode through the scanning line and TFT, wherein a voltage control circuit 19 which switches an output potential of the gate control circuit 13 from a potential in the normal driving state to a potential in the rising region of the TFT after cutting the power source to the liquid crystal display device is connected between the gate potential generating circuit 18 and the voltage control circuit 19, and the voltage control circuit 19 is provided with a short resistance connected between a selective potential supply line 28 and a non-selective potential supply line 29 which are connected between the gate potential generating circuit 18 and the gate control circuit 13.
