PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing width measuring device of a packaging body which can inspect with high sensitivity, a surface state of a package of a soft packaging material film, and performing accurately and quickly part specification of sealing and detection of a spot having a sealing width failure. SOLUTION: The sealing width measuring device of the packaging bag includes a conveyance means for holding and conveying a packaging bag which is an inspection object, a light source for irradiating the inspection object with linear light, an imaging means for imaging a domain on the inspection object irradiated with the linear light from the light source, a storage means for storing an image imaged by the imaging means, and a determination means for determining the surface state of the inspection object by performing image processing to the image stored in the storage means.
