METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IMPLEMENTING THE LOCAL SWITCH OF THE LOCAL CALL

A method for implementing the local switch of the local call is provided, the method includes that: the calling side Mobile Switch Center (MSC) receives a call setup request of the calling user, the access information of the calling user and the called user is transferred between the calling side MSC and the called side MSC; the calling side MSC or the called side MSC determines whether to initiate the local switch according to the access information of the opposite terminal user; when it determines that the local switch can be initiated, the calling side MSC or the called side MSC notifies Base Station System (BSS) to perform the local switch. Also, a system for implementing the local switch of the local call is provided by the present invention, the system comprises MSC and BSS to support the implementation the local switch of the local call. The method and system for implementing the local switch of the local call provided by the present invention solve the problem of the unsuccessful local switch due to the BSS connects with multiple MSC, by the MSC determines for the local call, and then notifies BSS to perform the local switch.
