The device (10) has a base carrier (2) e.g. flat steel bar, on which Y-teeth (1) lie at an angle of 180 degree in a longitudinal direction, where the device is upwardly mounted on a hedge trimmer with the Y-teeth. Two long screws are provided for mounting the hedge trimmer. Two holes (3, 4) are determined by measuring the distance between the screws to the hedge trimmer, where the distance extends to the base carrier. A twist drill with a preset screw diameter is provided for drilling the screws.
