<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support system for perception of vehicle surroundings wherein a trigger of naturally turning consciousness of a driver to a caution object without feeling troublesomeness is given to the driver. <P>SOLUTION: The support system for perception of vehicle surroundings includes an image receiving part 11 which receives a captured image consisting of a plurality of frames captured in time series by the onboard camera which captures the surroundings of a vehicle, an optical flow operating part 12 which operates the optical flow based on the feature points contained in the plurality of frames captured at different times, a mobile object detection part 13 which detects the surrounding mobile object of the vehicle based on the optical flow, and a superposition part 15 which superimposes a display indicating the moving locus of the mobile object on the captured image based on the optical flow. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
