<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint capable of suppressing a pressure loss to a comparatively low extent. <P>SOLUTION: The joint 1 includes a joint body 10 having a pipe insertion port 11 in which a pipe P is inserted, an inner core 20 internally fitted into a tip side of the pipe P, a tightening ring 30 externally fitted into the tip side of the pipe P, a cap nut 40 externally fitted into the tightening ring 30 and screwed in the joint body 10 or the like. A groove 11a is peripherally formed at an inner peripheral face of the pipe insertion port 11, and an O-ring 17 is provided in the groove 11a. The outside diameter of a tubular part 21 of the inner core 20 inserted into the pipe P is substantially constant from a tip side to a rear end side, and its outer peripheral face is a smooth cylindrical face having substantially no recessed and projecting parts. When the pipe P is inserted into the pipe insertion port 11, the pipe P is inserted into the O-ring 17, and a section between the outer peripheral face of the pipe P and the inner peripheral face of the pipe insertion port 11 is sealed by the O-ring 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
