摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous circuit of an optical homodyne receiver which can generate locally-oscillated light with highly accurate phase synchronization, even when a carrier frequency is extremely high. <P>SOLUTION: The synchronous circuit of the optical homodyne receiver synchronizes the locally-oscillated light to an input optical BPSK signal, and includes: a means for forming a phase-synchronization signal to obtain an electric phase-synchronization signal which can act as a demodulation signal of the optical BPSK signal; a means for forming intensity modulating light to obtain an optical-intensity modulating signal with the phase-synchronization signal utilized as a modulation signal; a square-law detecting means for performing a square-law detection by optoelectrically converting the light-intensity modulating signal; and a means for generating the locally-oscillated light to change the phase or the frequency of the locally-oscillated light using a square-law detecting signal as a phase-error signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
