<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable motor control device by allowing functions of control devices to prevent damage even outside of a working voltage range. <P>SOLUTION: The motor control device includes a battery voltage monitor circuit for monitoring voltage applied from a battery, a boosting circuit for generating voltage higher than the voltage applied from the battery, a constant voltage conversion circuit for converting a voltage supplied form the boosting circuit to a prescribed fixed voltage, a half-bridge output circuit, and an overvoltage protection circuit for preventing the voltage applied from the battery from becoming excessive. In the motor control device, control is performed such that the drive of the half-bridge output circuit is stopped when a detection result by the battery voltage monitor circuit reaches a threshold set higher than a voltage for operating the overvoltage protection circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
