<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time series data retrieval device which enables retrieval emphasizing an inherent frequency and an envelope component which may be considered important in a high frequency component while maintaining flexibility in a time direction as to a retrieval device for retrieving time series data similar to a certain time series data. <P>SOLUTION: A similarity retrieval device respectively divides time series data A and time series data B into sections a1 to a6, b1 to b8 (uniform characteristic sections) of which the waveforms are respectively characteristic and converts the time series data of respective sections into summary information aY1 to aY6, bY1 to bY8 called as summary elements in each section. The similarity retrieval device respectively creates summary element series A and summary element series B for the time series data A and the time series data B and determines whether both the time series data are similar or not based on the similarity/non-similarity of both the summary element series. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
