<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for compensation of temperature characteristics, capable of performing output compensation without a timing delay with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The temperature characteristic compensation apparatus includes a control means for controlling a heat generation component, a memory means for storing information which indicates either a control signal arrival time from the output of a control signal to the heat generation component by the control means to the start of temperature change in the heat generation component, or position information for determining the control signal arrival time, and a compensating means for compensating the temperature characteristic of a temperature characteristic component. The position information includes information which indicates at least positional relationship between the heat generation component and the control means in a package device. The compensating means adjusts the timing for compensating the temperature characteristic of the temperature characteristic component, based on the control signal to be output from the control means and the information stored in the memory means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
