<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position notification system which uses a mobile terminal with a camera and is simple and accurate and makes unauthorized behaviors difficult. <P>SOLUTION: In the position notification system, a display device is installed in a place where the position is to be notified, and individual discrimination information of the display device 300, time information, and its MAC are transmitted from a position management server 100 and is converted to a bar code or the like in the display device and is displayed on the display device. The bar code or the like is read by a mobile phone 400 with a camera and is converted to a character code, and the character code is returned to the position management server. The position management server calculates a MAC again on the basis of the transmitted individual discrimination information and time information and collates the MAC with the transmitted MAC to check whether it has been altered or not.
