PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage image files in a simple way and easily understand the situation when images are photographed. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 includes: a photographing part 1 which continuously photographs objects; a reduced image generation part 4a which generates reduced images for a plurality of still images based on image data of a plurality of still images that are continuously photographed by the photographing part 1; a specifying part 4b which specifies at least either one of the plurality of still images that are continuously photographed by the photographing part 1 as a main image; and a recoding control part 8 which links the main image specified by the specifying part 4b to the plurality of reduced images generated by the reduced image generation part 4a, and then records them into a recording medium 9.
