PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of laying a cable around within a narrow gap when laying a plurality of cables collectively between cases, thereby being made thin in thickness and small in size. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes a display portion case 2, a body case 3, a hinge unit 13, and a wire harness 19 laid between the display portion case 2 and the body case 3 via the hinge unit 13. The hinge unit 13 and a main circuit board 16 of the body case 3 are disposed oppositely with each other with a lens barrel unit 15 of a photographing lens therebetween. The wire harness 19 includes a laminated portion 28 which is laminated on a sheet 27 in the state where cables are aligned between the hinge unit 13 and the main circuit board 16. The wire harness 19 is laid in a gap where the laminated portion 28 is held between a display portion case housing section 6 of the body case 3 and a back surface side or a side surface side of the lens barrel unit 15 of the photographing lens.
