<p>The present invention provides a method for short message signaling intercommunication and a short message service center, which relates to the field of a Mobile Number Portability (MNP) service, and serves to solve the problem that the process of the short message signaling intercommunication can not be applied to the MNP service in the prior art. The method includes : step one, a Short Message Service Center (SMSC) of a transmission network receives a Mobile Original (MO) message from a Mobile Switching Center (MSC) of the transmission network, wherein the MO message carries a Mobile Directory Number (MDN) of a reception terminal (21); step two, according to the MDN of the reception terminal, the SMSC of the transmission network inquires a Number Portability Data Base (NPDB) about the current home network of the reception terminal, and obtains the information of the current home network of the reception terminal (22), step three, according to the information of the current home network of the reception terminal, the SMSC of the transmission network transmits to the MSC of the current home network of the reception terminal a Mobile Terminal (MT) message which is generated according to the MO message (23). The present invention is applied to the short message signaling intercommunication of the MNP service.</p> |
