<p>A method for upgrading a main board and a standby board includes: a system upgrades the version of the standby board, and performs test running for the upgraded version of the standby board; if the running of the upgraded version of the standby board is determined to be normal, the upgraded version of the standby board is activated to be the running version; the system upgrades the version of the main board, performs test running for the upgraded version of the main board, and switches the standby board to be a new main board; if the running of the upgraded version of the main board is determined to be normal, the upgraded version of the main board is activated to be the running version. The present invention also provides a device for upgrading the main board and standby board, and a communication single board. The present invention enables the seamless switching during the software upgrading of the main board and standby board, without influencing the running of the device and interrupting the system service; and at the same time, by the three steps of updating, test running and activation, the controllability of the upgrading process is enhanced, the probability of interrupting the device running due to the upgrading failure is reduced, and the convenience and safety of the system software upgrading is enhanced.</p> |
