PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for determining the interleaving address of a turbo interleaver are provided to rapidly decode data by decoding data without the generation of interleaving address in a code block. CONSTITUTION: The size of an interleaving, which is received in a data receiving process, is compared with the size of a pre-saved interleaving(413). If the size of the received interleaving is the same as the size of the pre-saved interleaving, data is decoded according to the address of the pre-saved interleaving(415, 425, 427). If the size of the received interleaving is different from the size of the pre-saved interleaving, data is decoded according to the address of the received interleaving. The received data is decoded.
