PURPOSE: An electronic device and a method thereof are provided to display other electronic device capable of a local communication through location information of other electronic device through a local communication to a display module. CONSTITUTION: A local communication module(114) performs local communication. A control unit(180) searches at least on different electronic device which is possible for local communication through the local communication module. The control unit obtains location information of at least one different searched electronic device. By reflecting obtained location information, the control unit displays the different searched electronic device in a display module(154).
