<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of restraining relative movements of both connector housings in a simple structure, in order to reduce the number of components of the connector used for a vibration-resistant function, and to achieve low cost and light weight. <P>SOLUTION: The connector includes a female connector housing 15 with a hood 21 on an outer surface, and a male connector housing inserted between the hood 21 and a terminal storage chamber 25 located inside the hood 21. In the connector, male and female terminals stored in respective connector housings are connected with each other since both connector housings are fitted to each other, a hemispherical protrusion 51 and a hemispherical recess capable of locking the protrusion 51 are arranged on respective parts of an inner wall surface 47 of the hood 21 and an outer wall surface of the male connector housing opposite to the inner wall surface 47, and when both connector housings are fitted to each other, the protrusion 51 and the recess are engaged with each other in a pressure contact state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
