PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve appearance quality of a case for a battery pack, and achieve reduction in battery pack dimension. SOLUTION: The case for the battery pack includes: a first case constituting part 21; a second case constituting part 22; and a hinge 23 to link the first case constituting part 21 and the second constituting part 22. While the first case constituting part 21 and the second constituting part 22 are folded so as to be able to house a battery, the hinge 23 is positioned inside the case against an extended face of the outer face 30b on a hinge side 30 of the first case constituting part 21 and the extended face of the outer face 40b on the hinge side 40 of the second case constituting part 22.
